how do i hook up a/f gauge

how do i hook up a/f gauge

whats up all.. i have an autometer phantom air/fuel gauge. and id like to know how to hook it up?? it has a red a black and a purple wire coming out of it. the gauge is brand new but no instructions came with. so if anyone could help me out that would be great. thanx

I would ASUME the purple wire goes to the 02 wire that goes into your ecu. The black is ground and the red is positive for the light.

I sure hope you bought it because you like blinkey lights. And not because you want to tune your car for wide open throttle.

I hooked mine up over the weekend. Hook the sensor wire from the gauge into the ecu pin # 2D. On mine it was a black wire. The black is a ground, and the other wire I hooked up to the cigarette lighter for power.

Red goes to a switched 12V power source. Black ground. Purple gets spliced into your o2 sensor wire. The o2 sensor is on the exhaust manifold.
