how do i fix this

i have been trying to finish my seven i was trying to fix my sticking acelerator cable and when i rev the engin i get a lot of back pressure sound and a couple small pops when the rpms drop back to 750 is this common and how do i fix it

Its pretty common for an engine to have small pops when decelerating..

It could timing being off.

This is a normal occurrence for the magical peanut engine.
