Update time. Got the new board for the CPU and it went in smooth as could be. Two days and counting with no problems, i'm pretty sure the board just crapped out.

One interesting thing i noticed is that the new board and the old one look VERY different. At first i thought i got the wrong one, but that is not the case. The old one looked like some one could have made it at home, while the new one looked better engineered.
Ill try to post a pick in the next day or two.

Did changing the CPU fix this? If so, where did you get it, and what did you order?
My 1991 Convertible wigged out yesterday, doing exactly the same thing. I disconnected the battery for the moment, but need to get it fixed ASAP!

The CPU is number 66 cost is about 80 bucks.

Apperently this particular board is more prone to failure for some strange reason.
