I am in the middle of doing a 13b-re conversion and i have a s4 turbo laying around that i want to run instead of the twins that came stock on the 13b-re. Now what i want to know is how to test the waste gate actuator before i strap it on the car?

Every thing else check out on the turbo but the actuator feels real stiff. And i dont want to blow u p my 13b-re.

 

get pressureized air like bike pump or a compressor if you haev it. and put pressure through hose untill wastegate opens.
