Question How do I change a front wheel bearing?

Just wondering if it would be easier to do it myself or take it to my mechanic? Thanks people.
Will

Funny thing is...it's the right front wheel.....just like on my old Bimmer not that that has anything to do w/it.....just thought of it as a weird coincidence that's all.

After reading that....I'll just take it to my mechanic......I don't need to get the bearing from Mazda do I? 'Cause I work at an auto parts store and I can get it there....

I'm so pissed now.....my mechanic is gonna charge me an arm and a leg.....DAMMITTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Looks like I'm fuct. I don't have the $$$ for a new hub and I'm not even going to guess what my mechanic is going to want....PLUS the price of the bearing set. This ruins my good week....DAMMIT....**** YOU MAZDA FOR DESIGNING THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING SETTING THE WAY YOU DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. I have no frickin idea what Mazda was thinking.
I think this is the first car I've owned that front wheel bearings can't be changed .
If you want, you can swap out a new wheel hub which Mazda claims is the only way. That damn thing costs $450 *EACH*. You cannot just swap out a new set of $10 bearings like other cars unless you get creative like the FAQ in Mazdatrix. Chalk up another one for Mazda.

This may be a little under-assuming, but have you tried tightening the bearing yet?

Agreed, it may be just a loose castle nut on the front hub, or you may be able to get by by pulling the bearings out, and repacking them in grease.
