how did I get hooked on RX7?
back like over a year ago maybe a year and a half. My friend was looking for a sporty car. So i was helping him out and i came across a 86 n/a RX7 on the internet. And my friend really liked it! So we took a road trip out to where it was, and my friend was instantly in love. Oh yeah my friend is Jesse (skibum9199) ( i hope he didn't want to tell this story)
Well he was really excited about it. And he was always giving me rides in it and it was so much fun! Well a few months later i needed a new car. And Jesse was really helpful and found me a 87 n/a RX7. So i guess he returned the favor. Now we are always messing with our cars together.

I unfortunately don't have my own RX-7 yet, but my fiancee has an '88 GXL, so at least I have access to one.
I absolutely adore these cars. I love all three generations. I love the looks, the engine, just the entire RX-7 legacy. Thinking about these cars makes me weak, and I so badly wish I had one.
The rotary engine is truly a marvel...it's amazing. I love learning all I can about 7s, and when I have my own I fully intend to work on it myself.
