How to connect the 6-port tube ??

Hi!

I wonder how to connect the tube between the header and the tube to the port-attenuater(correct word?)

When I bought the car it came like I try to show it on the picture with silicone tubes strapped to close. I then asked Racing Beat, who has delivered the complete system, what to do and they said to connect the to metalpipes with a pice of silicone-hose. I did so but can´t say that the car reacts differently, the only thing that is noticable is that, when connected, it sounds like there is a leak similar to a blown exhaust-gasket. Could it be that there is some sort of membrane that has been blewn or what do you think ? Is it your opinion that the tubes should be connected and will it be sufficient to open the extra ports or am I totally lost here :-)

What´s rather strange is that the car runs fine in both ways but that leads me to think there could be some gains and that the port doesn´t open even when connected. Is there some way to test it in "silent" mode as the car is in a closed garage and rather noisy ?
