Like the title states. I have a 88t2 and I'm not sure which kind if injectors I have. Is there a quick way to check?

 

Measure them with your Multi meter set on OHMS.Put the leads,one on each terminal of the injector..Read what the meter says.
LO is about 3.7 ohms or so,and HI is well Higher..like 12 and up.
Those are rough numbers but they definitely are noticeable enough to tell the difference.

 

Another way is to Look at the Part # on the side of the injector and go to the FAQ's up top and find the paragrah that has that info..it is in there.

 

testing with multi meter is probably best, some of the 88s had high some had low.

When I measured mine they were 2.4

Rotary > Pistons

 

**update**

so i went and pulled the upper and looked at my injectors. they are red square tops :-/ the faq said i should either have tan (low imped) or purple top (high imped)

any thoughts that i just happen to have 550's that are high imped?

 

You can't always rely on the colors but you can rely on the ohms. If you pulled the injector clip off of the injector it takes about 5 seconds to take an ohm test.
