I first spent hours looking for a thread where the question may have already been asked. So please excuse me if it has and I just didn't find it.

I am trying to find out how to test a electronic oil metering pump on a 1990 RX7.

I already know mine is bad, so I would like to be able to test a replacement pump with out re-burning up another computer.

I only know that it is a volt meter test. But I do not know what values I am looking for and off which pins

There was a thread the other day that listed

as a place where you can find the Factory Service Manuals, and the tests are listed starting on page D-15.

If you don't already have the FSM, it is a joy to have.

Check the FSM.

It has the whole setup.

I think it says to disconnect 2 lines and put them into a cup.

Run the car at 2k RPM for 5 minutes and measure the cc's of oil.
