i got my 89 Na 2 month ago and i noticed that it doesnt have a air pump. I also notice that im losing power after 4000 k rpm. I think i need to do something to 5th and 6th ports, like take them up or wire them open. If so how do i do it. Thanx. Comming soon 6" wide fender flares Im Me for request.

I heard if you put some type of gel like vasilene or soemthing on the port actuartors then run the car and see if thegel moved...

 

If you have no air pump, they won't work and neither your VDI. Download the factory manual from the web and look at it. I'd suggest getting a airpump from the wrecking yard.

 

I put air pump back on and piped up the actuators
so they will open up @4000 rpm...
used three small ball valves and had a friend
hold the car@4000 grand and adjusted ball
valve to actuators it works great
and man can I tell the difference!!!!!!!!!!
used stainless tubing and connectors
I got from industrial supply store..
sounds wicked too
