how can i Rig this up

Hello to all 7 owners

I have a 89 NA did didn't come with the Courtesy lights (Door lights) if thats what there called . I'm wondering how can i rig up the wires to make it work. I borrowed a friends 90 Vert driver side door panel to get the exact measurements. As to were i need to hook up the Courtesy lights if that's what there called. Yes i did look through the Archive's and found a 90 Vert wiring manual. I just couldn't figure out were to start (Wire wise).

Your help would be a Blessing

Either tap into power from the interior lights (on the circuit operated by the door switch) and then if necessary increase the fuse size.

Or just connect power to them with the break in the circuit being the door open switch.

There are a few ways, just gotta think about it.

You would have to tap the door trigger wire and the dome light power wire for it to work, (both found in the drivers kick panel) and from the pictures posted those wires are not already run, so as cmanns says, you would have to run the wires which can be difficult for someone without running wire experience.
