how can i remove oil cooler lines?

basically as the title says. im wondering how i can remove the oil line running from the front cover to the oil cooler, as well as the one running from the cooler back into the motor. Im almost ready to pull the motor but this is pretty much the last thing getting in my way.
from what ive researched, and what thats told me is that the front oil line is supposed to pop out once you loosen it, but im not sure how exactly its supposed to do that.....
another source told me to use 2 wrenches and pull in opposite directions but it does not seem to be doing anything. do i just need to pull harder or is there another way of doing it?
any helpful advice is appreciated. wish there was a in depth video explaining everything regarding an engine swap but i cant seem to find one that has all the info in one place. I'm not completely blind to the task at hand but my knowledge on a full engine swap is spotty.

Here's some info:

I did mine a few years ago and didn't have any problems, just needed to be a little creative.

thanks, i came across this post but couldnt really make heads or tails from it. now that i know its legit, its starting to make a little more sense. so i use 2 wrenches to disconect the hose from the fitting. is the hose supposed to pop out after this? and how much force should i be expected to give the 2 wrenches? quite a bit I'm assuming since the hoses are supposed to handle up to 200psi, right?

The cooler line attached to the front housing is a compression fitting. The one nut on the line which you want to loosen is a collar that pushes the flared end of the line onto the fitting . You want to use two wrenches because the goal is to disconnect the line from the fitting, not remove the fitting from the engine (I think you totally mess up the line if you pull them off together). I would just keep soaking it with penetrating lube because i remember it was a bit tricky to get a good grip on the fitting to hold it in place while loosening the collar.

Being said, it's a big nut, so it did take a bit more than others to break loose, but I wouldn't suggest really reefin' on anything in that car.

The rear line (attached to the rear iron) was easier as it's just a banjo bolt which you can get a socket on easily
