I have a lightly modded, street ported, S5 Turbo II , disconnected OMP.
The cars currently at the body shop. Last time I started/warmed up was about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It didn't start it for a week before that. I started it , let it warm up. I noticed alot of black smoke, i'm guessing from the premix, sitting at the bottom at the gas tank.I didn't get worried...Now my cars been at the body shop for the last 2 1/2 weeks outside.I live in Chicago, 40-60 degrees outside, so its pretty cold...But now its going to worked on in the bay until its finished and painted,for the next 2 weeks. So basically car hasn't started in a month. Only thing preventing me from starting it up, is a shattered, FMIC end tank which is getting repaired right now. which will be fixed, in a couple days. So I was wondering, How long you can go without starting the motor...before possibly damaging the motor , gasoline going bad.... Thanks

 

um....ive heard stories of peoples car sitting for a good couple of months.....then they just let all of the old gas out and put new gas in and replace all of the fluids.....

started up fine

You'll be fine, I fired up a flooded 12a thats been sitting for a year..just added new plugs and fired right up.. old gas and all.. you shouldn't have any issues.

 

If you're worried about fuel seperation, just slosh the fuel by pushing sideways on the rear bumper before starting it.
