how big are stock injectors and what is our engine made of?

I know that these are basic questions but i was just wondering. I have searched the forums quite thoroughly but i cant find the answer to these two questions. And when i say what is our engine made of i mean what kind of material, is it cast iron or aluminum?

Thanks

it's made of both, the housings are aliminum, and there is iron inbetween and on the ends.

as for the injectors, I think it's in the faq, it depends if your turbo or non and I think it depends weather your an S4 or S5

Same. There are no differences. As far as what our engines are made of (too bad it's an old thread), the first thing that came to my mind was tiny little gerbils running in circles.

You can buy some aluminum end plates and intermediate housings to replace the stock cast iron ones... They're made by Racing Beat.

That'd result in an almost all aluminum engine aside from the eccentric, rotors, and hardware.

How much money you got?

the injectors rarely are the color they are supposed to be, for many reasons, mainly heat.
