how big can i go

hey guys, I own a 89 gtu. I was wondering if anyone knew how big I could go. I would like to go with 18" Ro_Ja formula 5's with 215/35 front and 245/40 rear with a width of 7.5" and 9" respectively. Any comments? Thanks

As 1FastT2 said, you'll be fine as lon as you pick the correct offset. I have 18x7's all the way around with 215/40 tires, and I have had no problems. I don't have enough power to turn anything bigger yet, and I am running the stock springs and struts, so I can't comment on how they fit with a lowered car.
