How to adjust timing on 13bpp

I have a 13b peripheral port with a geneburg ida msd boxes holley fuel pressure regulator . Recently was trying to get this car running more for daily use because it was choking at low RPMs while daily driving and wanted it to make it at least as close as reliable as possible to take to a local car meets and shows.. the carburetor is completely off I have all the screws turned all the way closed to start from fresh.. people are advising me to also check my timing and adjust my timing considering I've been taking plugs on and off and replaced the starter a couple days ago since it went with all the testing and adjusting..

My question if I pick up a timing light how do you adjust the timing on a 13B peripheral Port I have the racing beat PDF file telling me the degrees I should have it in but I have never done just the timing on any vehicle myself so step by step instructions would be major key

if you're running a dizzy you want about 20-25* idle timing and about 35-40* cruise timing. the stock springs won't allow this curve, so you'll either need to lock the timing to something like 30* or respring the dizzy.

fuel is about 12:1 AFR across the board.
