how to adjust fuel lean/rich screw properly ?

88 vert runs seemingly rich after warm up.

Want to know the exact technique to adjust it instead of just turning it.

Thanks

there is a page in the FSM on how to adjust the idle, www.foxed.ca note that this only works at idle, so the engine needs to be idling under 1100rpm. basically you warm the car up and turn the thing until the car idles the best and then just a tad richer.

if it is all the way one way or the other you have another problem, like a vacuum leak or a bad ACV.
