how to adjust blitz bov on fc3s
how to adjust blitz bov on fc3s
i put my blitz bov on and now my car has a bad idle and shuts off when i drive and stop at a red light. i adjusted the screw where it controls the spring but the is another bolt near under the vacuum line. is that the other i need to adjust to get my idle right?
Sounds really like you have a vacuum leak - not necessarily from the BOV itself, but from what all else you un-did to install the BOV.
Did you get the kit from Blitz that replaces the turbo outlet pipe? If so, check the intercooler couplers and make sure they're on good and tight. Also check the air line going to the BAC.

yes i did plug up the hole. i also looked for any other leaks didnt see any. just bought a tps the other day used, possibly that? what my idle does is it idles at about 800 and it will putt and sputter down to like 700 and then the engine shakes. almost idles good but still has the shakes.
I have the same BOV....and did not have any issues with it after the install....its been untoched out of the box and has been performin great.....sounds like u have a vac leak some where or (not to say anything against u) have the vac lines connected incorrectly.....

Do you have a series IV? If so a Atmosphere vented blow off valve can cause idle problems because of the flapper style AFM. The ecu gets confused because it is anticipating the air coming from the bypass valve to go back into the system. I heard you have to really tighten up that screw to get it to work on a series IV.
