hot turbo loud exhaust

ok i just changed my turbo(stock turbo s4). ported the wastegate and opened up the exhaust part of the turbo. i have a turbo back rb exhaust. there seems to be ALOT more hot air coming from the engine bay that i didn't notice before. and my exhaust note seems very deep in 4th gear wot @ about 4500 rpms. checked the exhaust for leaks and didn't find any. anyone have any sugestions? please.

**** man, u should be happy u got a nice deep tone at wot lol. as for the under temps. it could possibly be because there is no longer a heat shield blocking the piping but i thought downpipes actually cooled down the under hood temps because more exhaust actually went thru the pipes instead of radiating off the pre-cat. eh, i dont know but it shouldnt be to big of a problem.
