hot starting on auto to 5 speed swapped FC

well,
we completed my auto to 5 speed swap this weekend. when we were finished, it started right up and everything was fine and dandy. took it around the block and it was perfect. i pulled over to cut the car off and try and fire it again... it started right up. well we took it back to the house and cleaned up. when i drove home and cut it off (maybe for 5-10 minutes) and tried again... it flooded out. got it started again and it was fine.

next morning, started right up before school. i went to my two classes and got in to try. i had to give it a little help but it fired up. the only thing is that after that... when i drive it, it doesnt hot start. it floods itself out. we pushed started it twice and it fires up but what am i missing here.

i noticed that we didnt unplug something to do with the automatic tranny in the kick panel. but if that was the case... how come it ran great first try? any input you guys have other than "search" would be very appriciated... i am scavenging everything right now. lol. thanks

replaced the starter... mine was weak and putting the new one in. oh **** how it made a difference. spun so fast it would crank and fire up before i could blink.

installed a fuel cut-off switch as well for those times when it rarely does flood out. fires up every time.

I'm still running the 3.90 rear end from the automatic. Manual driveshaft, and tranny obviously.
