Hose clamps?
Where can i buy the factory heater hose clamps? it seems that i have had some bad luck and i want to replace them. not with worm clamps bur the actual hardware that was used. im talking about the clamps that hold the heater hose in place right at the damn radiator.

May I ask why you don't want to use the worm clamps? Just curious...

i like the later spring clamp myself (H266-61-242) being a spring they keep a constant tension, and so if it leaks its because the hose is bad, easy to get on and off, factory look etc.
the con against the worm clamps is that they can cut into the hose, which is bad, and then they aren't constant tension, so they tend to loosen up with heat cycles. with most hoses its not a big deal, but things like the plastic radiator necks it can be.
oh and on the heater hoses is easier to get the to the stock clamps, due to the way the fastener is offset, if we looked we would actually find that there is a specific orientation from the factory for all the clamps

Both my S5s had spring clamps on everything, which I reflexively replaced with worm clamps.
I've since read convincing arguments in favor of the spring-type (which all the Asian manufactures seem to favor) and wish I still had them at hand.
Another major advantage of the spring v. worm drive is that the spring won't flatten/crush fragile hose bungs (like our brass heater core or my flimsy Chinese alloy rad...).
