after about 2 minutes of turning the car on the horn goes off and i cant stop it unless i take out the circut board, which also dissables the use of the horn and the dash lights. is there anything i can do to fix this?

 

Horn Relay? Or horn switch/button.

 

Assuming that you don't have a theft protection problem.................

Remove the plug from the CPU. With your meter make sure there is no gnd on the Green/Orange wire. When you honk the horn all you do is put a gnd on that wire. So make sure it is not grounded. IF grounded, then you have a problem towards the horn buttons.

No ground? Then it seems it would be a horn relay problem in the CPU.

If my horn was honking and I did not want to hear it, I'd pull the wires off the horns themselves til I fixed the problem. Sure wouldn't pull the CPU plug off.

 

Is it the horn, or low coolant buzzer?
