We have told you before... it is impossible for the wires to be crossed, there are no wires for the over rev buzzer. It is integrated into the dash/cluster.
Someone would have had to wire it that way.
And on a personal note; for you, I don't think its a bad thing to warn those around you of your exceeding the redline.

I agree with Icemark, in no way the the non existent wires crossed unless the last owner wanted a jolting redline buzzer and decided to solder in some sort of relay to the horn.... I cant imagine how loud that would be...

Man, Steve (shakes head)
Get your butt into the car and look to see what aftermarket wires are run off of the buzzer on the back of the cluster.
I don't know how many times we can tell you this:
YOU HAVE TO GET INTO THE CAR TAKE PART OF THE DASH APART SO YOU CAN SEE IN THERE AND FIGURE OUT WHERE THEY ADDED THE EXTRA WIRES.

No, you should not look at the radio. The radio has nothing to do with it.
Okay... at the risk of sounding like a remedial teacher:
If the buzzer circuit really is hooked up to the horn it will be at the buzzer and in one of two places.
First place to look (since you don't seem to understand that the buzzer is built into th back of the cluster) is the back of the cluster. This means you will need to remove the cluster. There are 4 screws holding the steering wheel surround, remove them and the steering wheel surround. Then there are three screws on the top of the cluster surround and two on the bottom. remove those and then carefully slide the surround out so that you can reach the plugs on the back side.
Unplug the plugs, slide the cluster surround up between the wheel and the dash pad.
Then 4 screws on the cluster. Remove them, reach around the back of the cluster and unplug two plugs (three if it is an automatic), and the speedo cable.
The cluster should come out the same way as the surround (up and between the wheel and the dash pad) then and you should see the buzzer dead center in the back bottom middle of the cluster. Look to see what is solder there should be just the 4 pin buzzer, but this is the only place that someone can tap into the circuit.

Then the extra wire will be tapped into the horn circuit either at the security system or at the CPU.
I don't know what year or model you have so I can't say where the security system is, but the CPU is in the drivers kick panel. To get to it, you'll need to remove the 6 screws on the drivers running board and the kick panel cover (three plastic snap in locks). The CPU is the tall black thing behind it with two or three plugs plugged in (depending in year) with at least one plug on the bottom and one on the face of the CPU. Again you are looking to see if there is an aftermarket wire tapped into the green/orange wire in the middle plug. That is the horn relay input wire.

First: HAHAHAHA LOL Man thats great!
Second: I agree with Icemark, it sounds like a good idea to "warn" people when your hitting redline, hehe. If it is to much trouble just leave it alone, or cut the wire? What year car you got and what model?
A question related to horns... Do s5's have 2 or 1?
