horn doesn't work

horn doesn't work

my cousin has an 87 sport and the horn does not work...new to the FC world....help!!! need to pass inspection!!!!!!

ide check fuses,then check the wires, then check and make the steering wheel is toghtor rite

The horn relay down in the CPU likes to go out a lot on these cars, also...Cold solder joints...

before you crackopent he cpu
fiddle with the connector that goes to it. The connector gets old, and connetions become a little loose. My horn didnt work because of that. I suggest you get a haynes manual.

or do what I did to pass inspection last year: get some sort of momentary switch, wire one side to the 12V from the batt, and the other to the horns. I still need to diagnose why mine doesn't honk either, but it's pretty far down the list of priorities
