hope this fits (fmic)

I just bought a greddy intercooler core originally inteded for an integra, with the intention to put on my 87 t2. The dimensions are; end tank to end tank 29.5, 7.5 tall, 2.75 thick. Is this too long? Most people I see run around a 20-24 inch long core. Any feedback is welcome.
