It would have been worth 10X more being a 4x4. :-p
Rally time!

Also, rear looks pretty droped, what are you doing for camber correction? What are those spring rates? And what shocks you using? And is the front rubbing? Looks pretty damn low.

the rear sits level with the front...camber correction...nothign yet but im gettin the rear camber bars soon to fix that...no rubbing issues in the front at all...i took a hammer to the inside lip at the top of the fender and rolled it in a lil bit (getting the 20mm wide fenders when i get 17s later this summer) springs rates? no clue, they're cut stockers and i've always been against cut springs too but seriously it rides pretty good and handles a lot better...its on my stock blown to freaking hell struts although im ordering some tokico blues to replace em in a week...i just got tired of my ride bein so tall and didnt wanna spend a bunch on a lowering kit cuz im gettin coilovers in august anyways

it definately is low though, gotta hit speedbumps and driveways at an angle but i took it through the movie theater parking lot in folsom which has evil high speedbumps and managed to not scrape so...

i see you got it on the second try.

has about the same ride height as my Teins, might not be optimal but it works.

looks good man! So what was the method to the madness. How much did you cut off each spring, did you make all the springs the same height, etc...?

ben- 3rd try! it wasnt til after the second set we realized we were retard and the rear suspension is linked and the stock side was supporting the low side, lol...guess dropping ur car in the middle of the night after not much sleep isnt the greatest idea in the world, hahaha

the front springs were cut about 1-1.5 coils. the rears were about 2.5 coils...when i go back to chris's i'll take pics of what we cut off for anyone that wants. my car sat with a lil bit of a rake with the rear higher so we had to take more off the back...if you'r gonna do it just make sure u cut conservatively on the rears and do both sides...its so fast to take the rear coil out and cut it more just start at one coil and work down from there til you get where you want.

yea definately in the market for some new wheels when my tires die.

Looks pretty good Rob. Looks to me like you could use some camber/caster plates up front though.

hahaha for sure! i definately need some camber correction front and back...whens ur guy gonna finish making them!?

need new struts in the rear BAD...it was awesome we took em off and fully extended them and held em up...the left rear one slowly dropped on its own with no weight or anything. im just gonna order some blues in a week or something similar and cheap as it only needs to hold me a few months til i get my real hardcore suspension...then we're taking a few days and replacing all the bushing, repainting the control arms (guess what color) and everything so in august my suspension will be the **** yall!

Rob, I should be able to take your order on the camber plates in another 2 to 3 weeks. Is that soon enough bro?

Yeah, it really did take us awhile, those damn rear springs gave us hell....we shoulda took pictures of it when we cut the springs too much LOL.... but All in all, it looks hella better. And when i was walking back to my car to go home, i was walking up to both our cars, they at the EXACT same height...

I think we cut slightly more than half off the front springs. I'll take some pics of them tomorrow if i remember. Luckly we were able to drive out to marysville to get those springs at 12:45am. otherwise we woulda been fucked!

Rob, I can get those plates for you whenever you're ready bro. I'm not trying to pressure you into buying them when they first hit the market. I'll have the first set down here next week and will show them to you once they're on my car. I think you'll like what you see. And we can discuss pricing when I show them to you as well. I don't want to broadcast the price until I officially release them for sale.
