hooking up check lights while driving?

yes. i am crazy, but i figure its a 5$ mod so i should ask

can you hook up test lights i.e. tps check lights and run them to the cabin to observe while driving? how/where do you hook up lights to pull ecu codes?

more importantly, i was reading at iluvmyrx7.com about an o2 test light. where do i hook this up and will it cause problems to leave it connected while driving?
id like to have an o2 light in the car! also, where is this o2 connector thingy?

The O2 is easy enough to read from the ECU every now & then to check its serviceability...

I run with the ECU code check LEDS mounted where the ash tray used to be (S4). You need specific instructions so you don't fry the ECU, and I can't remember the site now for the build-up...Maybe teamfc3s.org, if no one gets on and nails the site, PM me later & I'll get it for you once I get home (about midnight).

No, that's your initial set connector near the check code plug...

I read the O2 from the ECU...Every couple of months or so, I pull the carpet back to the ECU for a couple of days, and check all the inputs & outputs out as I drive to work & back...Kinda fun, seeing what everything's doing during different speeds, loads, etc...

thats my goal. im very inquisitive by nature, and i know my car has a pile of sensors and crap that i usually never see in operation or even notice until they die, and i have a fascination with flashing lights! having an ecu code reader hooked up is awesome, because if something goes wrong ill just see the flashing lights. is there another under the hood location i can hook up an o2 light?

I don't even see the lights anymore. All I see is O2 sensor, TPS, AFM...
