Talking Hoodies update

aight .....forum member in lousiana bought our prototype hood...finally after a week of boxing it up the shipping company ended up reboxing it and shipping was only 160 compared to 247 from fedex...without the discount......but just a word of advice...have them box it if ur going freight ....cuz ull end up spending the same money reboxing it again anyhow......the we left some xtra on the deges so he could trim to fit his car but its a one off that way and we decided not to try to reinvent the wheel anymore and just make a stock underside out of fiberglass that way u dont have to worry about fitment issue with the rubber stops.......we are making two more this week for stock7 and another for BLUETII as well as working on the body kit molds......so all as well just kind of an update and hopefull John will have his hood painted soon before this thread dies......just letting you know we are stil doing it and im getting bored on the furom without something to read...loool.....peace...Derek

here it is 2 months later and on my car
it is primer gray and not completed fitted yet.
my bumper must be bolted on completely to take out the gap
and rubber stoppers under hood adjusted for height

the hood is great:
this is the first hood produced by-----
DLTREEZAN

Any n/a car needs this hood due to the amount of hot air
that is pushes out of the engine bay.
I am currently working on a fan shroud that will work
better than the stock one with this hood. It will require the use
of an 14" e-fan instead of stock one once built I will post pics
of it as well.

How much are you charging for the hood? How much do they weigh? Are the pins necessary, or can we use the stock latch?

we dont need anymore rubber stops...just that hood in particular cuz it was a prototype and we didnt make a stock underside replica....hood will be painted soon....450 a shot....we are making a new design so not sure on exact weight......less than the aluminum for sure....and less than the prototype...so maybe around 20ish...and yes pins are necesarry..NO LATCH
