I was wondering if anyone else has ever had water leak through the side of their hood scoop and into the engine bay? I didn't really realize the extent or seriousness of the problem until a couple months ago when I noticed some rust (not on the hood). I removed the scoop, took some exterior house silicon (the type used for windows, etc) and put it around the hole and put the scoop back on. The problem seems to have improved but there is still a leak. Any ideas on how to prevent water from leaking into the engine bay?
