F a hood scoop. Rock two of these and you'll be cool as ice, like vanilla.

There was a place that had universal T2 hood scoops just like on our hood. I think it was CP Racing but don't buy anything from them, they have the worst customer support. They have some on Carbontrix.com that kind of resemble a WRX hood scoop and they're universal. I think it would take quite a bit of work to put a stock T2 scoop on an FB hood. But if you wanted to go that route you could probably purchase one in the for sale section here on the forum.

I know he said FB, but I think itll be easier finding a T2 hood than a scoop by itself. Plus youd get all the hardware and extras from the T2 hood

but the tII hood will not fit the fc - tII hood is too wide and the hinges are in different locations

........ no ****, Im aware, i own both Fb and Fc... you meant fb anyway right? I meant its easier to find a T2 hood and get the stuff off of it and put it on the fb hood, than just finding a T2 scoop. Unless T2 scoops are easier to come by than I think they are

You're right, its probably much less expensive to ship a whole hood than just the scoop

If he's asking us where to get one then that means he probably can't get one in a junkyard. Which means he'd have to buy one off the net. Which means he'd have to get it shipped. None of the "Hardware" on a T2 hood would benefit him whatsoever.

Yea, smartasses who actually read the post and put helpful info instead of asking him to do something else because you think it makes more sense.

Now that I've gotten to thinking about it, you are going to be hard pressed to put a normal T2 scoop on your car because it actually slides back into the T2 hood. Your hood doesn't have the spot to put it on. You're gonna be the best and easiest to go with a universal scoop.

These scoops have a lip that you can either rivet to the hood or attatch with your preference of adhesives. And they're different sizes. Go to Carbontrix.com and then the vents/scoops section.

Yeah the scoop is part of the hood. The only peice that comes off is the plastic trim in the openning.
You'd have to cut out the middle section of the t2 hood the graft it onto your FB hood.

HAHAHA, Yea, thats right cut half your hood apart for no reason. You'd have to rivet it because you couldn't weld it or bondo it. That would look great, no I'm just kidding, that would look like complete ****. If the original poster decides to do that then maybe he deserves it.
