honda engine in rx-7

haha just kidding I rather see my car burn than do that, now that i have your attention I have a question for you.

I have already used the search function and did not came up with much on this.

With a stock turbo and average mods (walboro pump, fcd, complete performance exhuast, s-afc, 720 secondaries, TID)(10 psi?) what HP am a looking at at the flywheel for both an S4 and for an S5 engine

Then if you get a HKS sport turbo kit or similar turbo what kind of flywheel hp? both with s4 and s5

Basically im trying to plan out the next 2 years of my cars life, whether to get a s4 or s5 to replace my blown 88 t2 engine and see if a turbo upgrade is worth it.

Thanks

Series 4 engine, Series 5 turbo and manifold, and a FMIC. Then add a A'PEXi AVC-R and get down on some HP

Like everyone said, I would get the S4 motor because it has lower compression rotors ( good for boost ) and mechanical OMP's

As for HP numbers, my S5 TII put 215 to the wheels at ~9/8 psi

Of, I missed the HP questions part The Project 86 TII (S5 engine) put down 200.1rwhp internally stock at 6.5psi with a cone filter, RB downpipe and N1 single.

im sure this has been discussed a million times but can i take the s4 jspec im going to get, then buy an s5 turbo from someone? will be engine be almost as good as an s5?

and what is an A'PEXi AVC-R? , sorry

what kind of 1/4 miles do you guys get with 200 and 215 to the ground?

Also i guess my real question is with walboro pump, fcd, complete performance exhuast, s-afc, 720 secondaries, TID is a future turbo upgrade do able or will i need a haltech, new radiator, bigger and better everything, etc

S5 motor and turbo.

IMO the S4 is a better motor because of the lower compression rotors and mechanical OMP's.

Apex'i AVC-R is a boost controller.

Like I said, the car should be in the mid/low 13's however I have personally never driven it at the track. It ran a 8.5 in the 1/8th mile under the previous owner.

And as for all those upgrades you listed, Im running everything you have listed MINUS the Haltech and PLUS the radiator
