It looks great.. and I think it will look much better with some weight underneath it.. like a nice chin spoiler (even the full length stock TII one)

Update

More progress on the bumper:






I have covered the bondo build-up with one to three layers of glass weave to strenghten it so it won't dent and chip off when I have rocks and stuff hit the bumper at speed.

It is all downhill from here! Just minor filling and sanding and it is primer time.

You are going to have to do something with the FTP lights ports now. The new bumper is VERY nice! Nicely curved and smooth fowing.. too bad the rest of the FC is a little angular. I think that if you put a nice round lip spoiler underneath, then you need to smooth out the FTP ports. They are too square and angular to match the bumper underneath. Maybe just putting the lenses back in would help....
Again, that bumper looks great for a DIY!!!!

There was another forum member who PM'ed me asking for a bumper job. I wish I could, guys! I'm off to Civil Engineering school after this project is done (after an auto-x or two).

Yeah, the bumper almost contradicts the lines of the rest of the car. I was going for the FD look and they are much sexier than FC's in my opinion. I'll put the FTP lenses and marker lights in for another photo shoot tomorrow.

I am not lying when I say that I almost cried when I put the sanded bumper back on the car tonight and took a look at it.

It just took me by surprise because I thought it was not turning out very well and was getting frustrated, and then I saw it on the car and was awestruck by what it looked like with the FC behind it. So in a good way, I guess.

Ah, memories. I remember when I had mine looking like that but I just had to keep cutting. Body filler sux and I am sick of it! Body work is no fun. Probably why good bodyshop guys make $$.

To bad your taking off for college i would pay you at least $200 for one! I am used to paying like 150 for a bumper cover (I used to drive a civic) I about had a heart attack when I saw air dam prices for these 2gen. Anyone know of a reasonable priced bumper out there($300)? Anyone want to sell me theres...

Yeah i took a bumper i found for a honda and slapped it on the rex and damn was it a pain in the ****. I cracked it already but its a good thing i didnt mold the sides together as one piece or goodbye front end but other than that i get alot of compliments for it so it was worth it at the end.
