OH ****! The car has been down on power and just not feeling right. So today I took it to a muffler shop and had them put it on a lift...the pre-cats where smoking...had them cut them out and put a pipe in... Now its just the CAT (which is now raddling like a baby toy)... and the car is running like a scalded dog.... HOWEVER....

At 12:00pm I put 14ish gallons of fuel in the car (filled it up) and this evening the guage is reading 1/4....put 98 miles on it... Why have I ripped through so much fuel.......

Pre-cats are gone... Cat is rattlen...toast....

 

Maybe a clogged cat. If you don't have to pass emissions, you can use a broom stick and hollow the cat out.

 

Easy. New found power means you are enjoying your right foot planted on the floor board. Normal. Ease up and you will see an MPG improvement.

You must be having some kind of fun though...
