Yo,
Gene, if you had those LED tailights, the extra weight would keep your rearend planted!! That's the problem! *snicker*
Dude, what kind of crazy Neeper wannabe chrome starfish rims ARE those? You need to buy the stock Baloney Slicer 15's off of me!

I'm actually a big fan of the stock baloney slicers. They look really good on the car.

Actually they are authentic Neeper N7 chrome starfish wheels! Freakin HEAVY! They came with the car. They look kinda goofy there since the center caps are removed to make the scca tech inspectors happy. I've actually got a set of the deli slicer 16" wheels I picked up from the junkyard. Gonna order up a set of kumhos to wrap them in sometime this week. I'll probably get some non-ghetto rims for street driving sometime this summer, and put those suckers up on ebay...

I have those same Neeper N7's on my FD. Yes, they came on the car. They are not my favorite rims, but I'm willing to leave them be till i can throw down the cash for some others. I can't complain really, at first I hated them but they grew on me!

Yeah I don't like the rims.... I make myself feel better about them by leaving the center caps off and not cleaning off the brake dust as often as I should :P
That exact AE86 was actually up on ebay. It was up there for a lot though, like 6000 bucks. It is fast, though.

Yo,
I hate to tell you, but AE86's are getting rarer and rarer. They are so popular in Japan right now, people are buying 1985-1987 Corolla GT-S's, converting them to right hand drive, and exporting them /back/ to Japan.
Good luck finding one, the cat is pretty much out of the bag on these little dorift machines.
Your best bet is to find some old lady driving one, putting a note/following her home, then throwing cash at her. The problem is, the car is so problem free, people have no desire to get rid of them.

I like those wheels.. Yeah, that's some body roll right there What class are you in? Maybe time for some higher rate springs..
I wanna know how that Corolla manages to be in Street Prepared with fender flares like that.

You like those wheels? The one on my red T2? Want to buy them from me? Or trade them for something else in 16"?
I'm in ASP thanks to my engine mods. ASP-appropriate coil-overs are in the mail however! Fender flares are allowed in the SP classes, BTW.
"14.2 Bodywork
A. Fenders and bumpers may be modified for tire clearance. Flares may be added although tires may extend beyond the body work. Replacement of complete flared fenders or quarter panels is prohibited."

Well, huh.. interesting. Learn something new everyday. I don't pay that close attention to Solo 2, but never seen an SP car with flares.
Anyway, while I might *like* your rims, I'm stuck with 15" rims anyway.. See how well I dodged that?

wheels
The 16 inch wheels from a 1989+ TII or GTUs are about the lightest easy-bolt-on you can get for the 2nd gen with the five bolt hubs. Need to find a basket case and grab the wheels.
