Thanks, but I don't really dig the style of the RB exhaust. I've looked around and I've decided that this is what I really like.

Have you seen the new RB exhausts? They look similar to this KS exhaust and probably perform better. These actually look like they are more restrictive.

The KS exhaust is a pretty sweet setup. After the dp it splits into 2 straight pipes, one for each muffler. The kit is pretty heavy, used to have it on my car. Sounded very nice as well

You mean something like this? I like the tips, but I prefer round shells over oval ones. And in terms of restrictiveness, did you say that because it has a smaller (100mm) tip? But in all honesty, I prefer narrower tips than wide ones (115mm), and this particular KS set caught my attention because it has a large shell for having a narrower tip.

Performance-wise, it might not make any sense, but I'm just all for the looks here. Even if it's overpriced, I'm willing to pay for it since it caters so much to my taste. Maybe if there's another company who makes identical looking mufflers at a cheaper price, then I'd switch. But like I said, I've looked around and found out that this is the most unique.

So is there anyone here who knows where I could get them?

Have you tried looking elsewhere? (other forums, ebay,..), or just ordering them from knightsport, or are they discontinued?

It was a cool exhuast, it made 231hp to the wheels with a stock turbo w/ stock airbox + stock IC.

I sold it for $900 used.. though I had the canisters powdercoated.

what do you folks think about this setup? I just received it last week from RP. Do any of you know anybody that has this setup? I would like to know whether they liked it or not for an N/A 89 GTU. Basically I am all stock, but I am going to match port the intake manifolds and also add Pineapple sleeves.

Exhaust restriction doesn't have a damn thing to do with the diameter of the tips... And the first place I would look is HERE...

Neofreak, didn't you have the KS turbo back model that splits into 2 pipes right after the turbo and has 4 presilecers and 2 mufflers?

I bought that one once, wish it would have made it to me...

No, by restrictive I meant in terms of bends etc. not just the muffler tip. I dunno how big the KS tip is, looks about the same as RB tips though.
RB TII catback:

Looks to me like the bends are a little less harsh than the KS.

Ryan @ Corksport don't take this personal, you people have great products and I buy them, I think my SS brake lines with the red plastic coating look f'n SWEET!!! will look nice with my RB sways and springs and KYB AGX shocks .... with that said...

Of course he is going to sell you the exhaust you want. The other people were trying to help... by telling you that they think the RB is a better exhaust based on experience.

Altho I too think its pretty funny your buying an exhaust based on looks. I mean seriously I could have the worst looking exhaust in the world but if I gained 5 or 10 HP by using it instead of a pretty shiney *** exhaust... I am goin with the ugly *** exhaust.

But maybe thats just me, and a some others.
