hks manifold and N/T

Well I tried to search and came up with about a milling what do I have to do to turbo my non turbo so I hope i didnt miss anything while searching. With that said here are my questions. If you use an hks manfold and t04 turbo on a non turbo(of course with stand alone, fmic setup and full exhaust) do you still need a spacer considering the manifold seems to relocate the turbo and push it forward is there still the problem with the turbo clearing the lim?? And if there is can you the same style spacer most use witht he stock s4 or s5 turbo and turbo manifold?? And finally where can I get one of these spacers, does it have to be custom made and does anyone have a pic of it?? thanks for all the help guys Im sure aaron cake probably has some insight for me.

Depends on the manifold and the turbo. Some will work, some others won't. It's hard to say without actually knowing exactly which or without something already have tried it.

I just got a hks cast manifold and I am kinda stumped with the bolt setup for the manifold to the to4b with a 1.15 backside I have sitting around. Either the hex bolts hit the manifold or they hit the turbo. What did all you guys use for bolts. Also the hks mani holes are threaded and will not allow you to use a nut on 3 of the 4 holes. WTF?

Is that a true HKS manifold or the copy? If I remember right the true HKS used studs. And as far as I'm aware, using an HKS manifold will allow you to bolt it up without a spacer depending upon the size of your hotside. I think some people just used a RB flange with a couple of gaskets on either side and longer studs as their spacer for larger turbo setups (that retained the n/a intakes at least)

Sorry, I mixed two responses into one. The studs/etc was for the first guy and his wondering if it will fit a N/T. For you I was saying the HKS manifolds I've seen had studs on the turbo -> manifold side, if that's what you're talking about.

Racing Beat flanges are available from Racing Beat, Mazdatrix, etc.

As it clearly says in all my writeups, you make the spacer.
