I was considering getting this exhaust for FC, and I only saw can/mufffler. Just to be sure, I would have to do a down pipe to it from the cat right? And can it be mounted on either side?
EDIT: Scratch the first part, I saw the cat-back system... I still want to know if there's anyway to mount it on the passenger side.

Hey, there is somebody who wants to buy my Racing-Beat full.
Will be there a power loss with the HiPower SILENT??
The Hipower has no Silencers and stuff, is the SILENT one more restricted?? i need this kind of info very very soon.. as possible.. NOW. I cant find good detailed pictures of a SILENT exhaust.
please, please throw some pictures in here.. or email me (write PN to me and i tell you me email)

HKS Hi-Power & Silent Hi-Power
Both the normal Hi-Power and the Silent Hi-Power Cat-Back Exhasut Systems have the same piping diameter (75mm) upto the cans. Regular Hi-Power is straight through 75mm, but the Silent Hi-Power necks down to about 65mm inside the muffler can. The exhaust tips are the same outer diameter, but the Silent Hi-Power has a tapered slope.
Performance difference is not that noticeable if you are mild tune or stock set-up.
Sound difference is noticeable. Silent Hi-Power has a mellower tone, the regular Hi-Power has a crisper tone. At idle they sound almost identical. At 3000rpm, dB levels are about 8-10dB less with the Silent Hi-Power.
If you are concerned about getting pulled over because of sound, then the Silent is the better choice... but any exhaust system with 3" piping will be significantly louder than stock. If you are paranoide about getting pulled over, get the Racing Beat because they are a lot quieter.
Between the APEX and HKS regular Hi-Power (Similar piping and muffler can desgin), sounds are very similar and power numbers are basically the same, but the APEX is louder and has more of a "tingy" sound than the HKS. The HKS has a larger "cherry-bomb" type sub muffler located in the piping to muffle the higher frequencies.
These comparisons are based on the cat-back exhaust systems, not the universal cans.

thank you for the post HKSFC3S!
wow, damn.. i dont know what to do
in fact, even the normal HKS HiPower wont be that lout at idle on a TII, compared to a N/A.
I was sure to go with the HKS Silent, but it sucks, because of the 65mm diameter INSIDE the muffler.. so i wanted to go with the APEXI GT Spec, but got a mail that the exhaust is too big to be shipped overseas.. DAMN!!!
i am tired of racingbeat, and i dislike corksport for some reason..

In my opinion it is too expensive. If you have the money, buy a full racing beat or borola exhaust. If dual isnt your thing but you still have the money you should get one custom fabricated using american mufflers (flowmaster), they have a really nice sound to them. If you dont have alot of money but still want a decent exhaust or are just hell bent on getting a big loud single exit exhaust I would recomend corksport.
