HKS FMIC: New Vs Old

Is there actually a difference between the one being sold by HKS now to the "old school" ones?

Just curious before I make my next IC purchase.

The new ones are A LOT bigger and, to me, overkill if your just running a stock turbo and not wanting gobs of power. I have the old school HKS FMIC and im happy with it. Its a piece of cake to install. No bumper removal. You just need to cut one little hole in the car and you can keep your battery in the same place along with AC and PS.

Ah, by any chance do you have a picture of the new HKS FMIC?

I know the new Greddy's are huge.

Nah.. No pics of the newer ones.. I THINK the greddy IC is really similar to the HKS one.

yea i have the old school trust 3 row in my car. the difference is mine is 4" thick. i dont remember what turbo mine was for, it said on the front of the paper work, but it was just a number, the rest was in japanese. the only downfall to my kit is the IC piping diamiter. and i assume its pretty close to the same intercooler piping and set up as the HKS unit.
