HKS FCON (piggy back) + MAP sensor question
I just picked up an HKS FCON piggy back + GCC for some basic street tuning. What I'm wondering is if these allow for removal of the factory AFM on the FCON piggy back setups? Are the MAP sensors a replacement, or just an addition, to air metering on these setups?
I know with the stand-alone VPRO setups, the AFM is ditched... and I'm hoping for the same in this case with the piggy back units.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

as for getting rid of the AFM, it's just a piggyback so it stays there. as for the pressure/MAP sensor that it comes with, i have a vacuum hose "t'd" it off from my BOV (and the plug of course, connected to the harness as well). i read up that it's supposed to be mounted above the throttle body as well but i didn't do that. lol
mine came with the FCD that you're supposed to splice in but since i already had my knightsports FCD installed, no need to put that on.
if you have anymore questions, let me know. it's pretty much plug-n-play.
it'll be also nice to run it with a wideband O2 sensor and device so you can see where you're A/F ratio's at when "tuning" the number dial. mine's currently set at "2" of 9.
let me know when you want to let go that GCC you have.

on the piggy back units, the AFM stays. if you look at which wires the unit actually uses, it gets rpm and the fuel injector signals from the stock ecu. so it actually takes the stock duty cycle and changes that, based on its own map sensor.
