HKS EVC IV n autometer boost gauge problems
what's up guys? I got a tiny little problem and one question. the problem is my autometer boost guage, it's light is always on, I wrapped one wire around my illum fuse (I was told to do this by a friend) now the guage light won't turn off... I was also wondering if it's because I might have switched the wires (does black always go to gound? and does white go to 12v source?)
and I was also wondering if anyone could give any suggestions on where would be a good location for the stepping motor of an EVC, thanks

The Fuses always have juice. If you take a look at the wiring diagram in the FSM, you'll notice that the switches are AFTER the fuses. So you just basically connected your gauge to the battery No wonder its always on
Take the wire off, and connect it AFTER the switch, i.e in one of the connectors behind the switch cluster. Look it up in the FSM, find the "IL" and "E" wires, and take your "Power" and "Ground" wires from there respectively
