hks bov

Is there anyway i can make my hks bov louder. I noticed a screw on the back of it would that do anything?

The screw probably changes how much pressure makes it go off, and probably won't change the sound too much, but I'm not positive.

it's not that loud maybe it's becaust im only running 8psi. well which way do i turn it to make it go off at lower boost?

turn it to the left/loosen the nut. it won't make much of a difference in noise, that's more the size and shape of the outlet that the boost is traveling through, but you will be able to hear it more often. when you turn up the boost though, it will get louder, assuming you can hear it over your engine and exhaust!

you need to crank up the boost to make it louder, FYI the ss bov starts to leak at around 15psi, i found that out after i bought it I should have gone with the greddy type R.

How can you tell if its starting to leak? Im only running a little over 10psi, My ss bov is way louder than my friends greddy or turboxs.

ya it's the ss. I need to get a few fuel mods before i "crank up the boost". But it will be alot louder at around 12-13psi instead of 8 right?
