today was a cold day and while i was on the highway i hit fuel cut.
im just wondering if it is bad to hit it i don't want to end up with a blown/chipped motor later down the road?

It is a harsh way to keep the motor from overboosting, but hitting it once isn't going to blow your motor. Get a FCD or better yet, an rtek & of course port the wastegate.
