On The Highway I Hear a grind when i push down the gas pedal!!
So i have a used transmission with about 60k miles on it, and have a fairly new stock engine with bout 5k miles on it, so when im driving about 65+ i hear a grind only wen i push down on the gas, and the noise goes in and out, i just got my tires rotated and balanced and i was just reading up on some threads and some people said that if you hear a wine noise, it means ur tranny might be going out, any suggestions id appreciate it
Where does the noise come from, it could be anything from the description you just said, but if it never happened with the old transmission, then chances are something isn't installed properly...
Relay from the pedal or engine?
Relays don't vibrate, don't grind, and are not related to the pedal. The car has a throttle cable; it's not drive-by-wire like modern cars. Which is it, a grind noise or a vibration? Is the whole car vibrating, or do you just feel something slight through the pedal? Speed related vibrations can be a u-joint or wheel bearing. Acceleration related vibration can be a loose transmission mount or something similar.

Automatic or manual transmission? Does "when you get on the highway at 75+" mean it only happens during hard acceleration? Or under any acceleration at high speeeds? Mounts would still be me guess. Check the engine mounts, transmission mount & rear differential mounts. You can see all of them with the car jacked up.
sounds like a driveshaft or possibly the transmission.
either way it doesn't sound like you are experienced enough to guess what the problem is unless you love changing parts for no reason. take it to a reputable shop.
