When do you have the fan set to turn and off? I just installed the Taurus E-fan (low setting) and have it set to turn on at 85*C and off at 80*C with the Haltech. I think this is too low because the fan basically never turns off. it is on an S5 TII w/ the Greddy FMIC and no undertray. On the highway the temps stay around 195*F and 178*F around town (read from autometer gauge). I am looking for an undertray, and hopefully that will drop my highway temps a few degrees.

When going at highway speeds you shouldn't need a fan, and it probably isn't helping anyway.

Your oil temps are too high, the oil filter pedestal is AFTER the cooler, so you're feeding the engine 200F oil, and it'll only get hotter after that.

As stated earlier, use thicker oil. Recommended oil for this car in temps > 35F is 20W50.

what manifold pressure was this, and what were the afr's?

my old setup depending on the weather would run as lean as 16:1's with aprox 40deg advance on cool mornings,

driving to work i would be around 3k rpm with mid 15's afr's with still high 30's deg advance with very light throttle. all that was good for about 20mpg on a t04s cosmo re when i stayed out of boost

coolent temp's a little wamer than id want, i kept my car around 85c witha koyo and the stock fan, if your running w/o the stock belly pan, throw it back on, makes a world of difference, that alone is your running a stock tstat will prob bring temps back into the norm 84-87c

note about the advanced timming i recommend, it does bump egt's, alot, i saw 1700c post turbine alot, and probably was higher at times, (old hks gauge was rather slow) thoes egt's also bring up underhood temps substantially, which inturn made the car run a little warmer.
