omg not this again...Bro, I've learned my lesson and so shall you...search.
Quick answer though..rev to 7k or your current Red Line..shift.
This is good for the Rotary.
And if you miss it once or twice big deal. Missing all the time, think faster than mayonaise.

basiacly rotarys LOVE high revs hah

dont worrie about it you could sit at red and alittle over for a good sec and not have to worrie. its when you are maxing it out in the red and not shifting then we have a problem.

i take my FC past red alot. usaly when im racing and i heel toe and i shift into too low of a gear and spike the car.

DONT WORRIE ABOUT IT

The rotary seems to make a hgiher and higher pitched sound per 1K rpm so I think the car was at 11K ish for 2seconds as it was down reving as it was in N there was abunch of loud POP POP POP sounds and we have a cat.....idk what that was but man it puffs alot of blue smoke at that rpm

i feel you on the uneven surface giving false warnings.

ill be grippign and the weight will shift somewhere or when im doing donuts or drifting the low oil light comes on then right off when i stop and when i check it its running and the mid stick... its weird...

but with blue smoke its usaly coolent and 75% is pretty hot man

**** rly?

it was smoking at 5K rpm so my dad just opened the throttle body all the way and held it for awile I saw the rpm gauge go past 8k to the little thing that stops it then it went even higher so maybe 12K even i mean i was standing behind the car watching for when blue came out and the rpm's and it pushed my dubble knee dickes around my legs like those tight peg leg pants haha then he let go and it like backfired?

Once I actually killed the car from fuel starvation in a really hard turn....

But yeah, rotaries are really well balanced, but the seals and eccentric shaft take a beating when you overrev.

There was this video online of some guys who took a damged engine and gave it full throttle with no load...and even under those INSANE revs, it took a long time for the engine to blow....and when it did blow, it was from all the coolant bubbling out of the tank.

well i have that problem but with white smoke because i have an oil leak and around 6k-8k on my S5 i get smoke.

But yeah running at around 75% is pretty high... Is it constant or does it flux. My car usaly stays at half on a normal day but on cold or hot days it goes up by a hair or 2. but more than half is usaly a coolent problem. and blue smoke should be the first sign of a problem.
