Talking High pressure radiator cap

Well I am thinking of installing a high pressure radiator cap on my metal-top radiator (OEM equivalent), but I am wondering what are the risks involved with such an installation?

Has anyone here ever blown up their radiator because of a high pressure cap (under intense abuse/use, of course). I seriously need to increase my cooling capacity because I almost overheated (actually did, in fact, but not by too much) my engine last time on the skidpad. No $$$ for Aluminium radiators though...

What do you guys think? I am already running water wetter...

a higher pressure cap will not increase cooling. it will just raise the boiling point of the coolant.

fix the problem. don't try to band aid it.

What Scott said. Find the cause of the problem and fix it. HP radiator caps overstress stock cooling system components and won't compensatee for parts that need replacing or repairing.
