high idle, low oil pressure
seems like all i post on here is problems lol
basically, the car will idle at around 1.5-2k even when all warmed up and everything. the oil pressure will stay about in the middle of 60-30 when driving, then fall to around 30 when i stop and idle (around 1.5-2k).
randomly it will go down to a normal idle but the pressure will fall in between 30-0. hasn't hit 0 yet, i'm kinda nervous about that. ALSO, i have that strange foam buildup in the oil filler neck..
another issue, secondary injectors are laggy. will start to kick in and pull me but then around 6k will just sputter until i shift and get backfire and get pulled into the next gear.
i just had to replace a fuel pump to get it started also, so it didn't run for a while about a month. but the same problem still existed just before the pump went bad. i'm really hoping it isn't a serious problem, i hope i don't keep getting signs this bitch is about to blow, cause i can't afford a rebuild/new car. could all of these problems be related?
i pulled into my driveway earlier, and when i turned it off i heard a crackle popping noise from under the hood. i couldn't really figure out where exactly it was coming from, but it was more so on the passenger side. i figure maybe it's my headers burning off water since it has been raining or something, but i don't know. i just want some advice so i don't think my car is off to the graveyard.
specs:
91 vert
130k
stock everything, except for magnaflow exhaust (with COOL EXHAUST LEAK SO IT SOUNDS FAST!!!)
bought the car running as it was in good condition about 2 years ago, has had no serious problems minus blowing a transmission.
is this thing safe to drive? or is it going to blow the **** up on me haha

First thing to do about the oil pressure issues would be to hook up a mechanical pressure gauge and see what's happening.
There is nothing inherently wrong with the stock gauge (unlike the water temp disaster), but the sending unit my be dying and reading odd.
There is nothing "strange" about the oil filler neck mucus, it's just condensed oil fumes and is particularly noticeable in winter.
Clean/replace your injectors.

Attach an oil pressure gauge to the sending unit port and report on oil pressure. Low pressure will indicate excessive bearing clearance most times. A damaged pump will decrease volume but pressure should still be almost normal. It should raise with RPM as the pump is a positive replacement rotor pump. To a preset limit though.
