high idle after auto to 5spd swap?
high idle after auto to 5spd swap?
well my 1990 rx7 n/a was an automatic,and i installed an 86 rx7 5spd trans.
everything seemed to work out great.
i unplugged the auto tranny ecu,and bypassed the clutch start switch. the car drives awesome,so much more power and control! but when i push the clutch pedal in at like a red light the idle goes up to 2000 rpm,almost like i was putting the car back in park. but the auto computer is unplugged.
do i need a 5spd computer?
is this a tps problem? i replaced the tps about 3 months ago,but is a 5spd different?
other than this idle problem the car works great. let me know what you guys think
