Question HIGH FLOW CATS -pop

Do all high flow cats make that pop,pop sound when you let off the gas?
I have noticed a decrease in sound and performance since I swapped out the
stock cat. What's with it?

I make mines pop...I love it. Sometimes I can get a nice big pop from my lovely NA. If I end up getting the full Racing Beat setup (header-presilencer-dual cat= $987) I'm hoping I can get an even more popping sond...maybe a little flame too.

some minor pops are normal on lift throttle on a rotary, but substantial or multiple pops suggests that the motor is improperly tuned, or missing the air pump and ACV, or the TPS is out of adjustment.
