High compression question...

Looking at a rebuild on my turbo keg and have a concern about ensuring high compression.

I'll be purchasing my seals but want to know which manufacturer offers the best "kit" and what constitutes high compression?? I know of owners who have approx 105 compression on their rotors and I would love to have those type of numbers myself too.

Thx for any info.

OEM from mazdatrix is supposedly the best. I have rebuilt with an atkins kit and that has been holding up fine.

Also, high compression comes from a mix of good housings, irons, and seals.. Depending on the condition of your irons and housings you may not get those kinds of numbers, although if they are in good condition and within FSM spec you should see 105.

Oh ok cool. Im hoping that once I get the engine torn down, I have decent housings and irons. I'll go to the Atkins site and check pricing on a seal kit.

Thx fellas, your feedback is invaluable. Atkins appears to be a go at this point.
